Landmarks
Most travellers usually head to Bekal, 16 km south of the Highway. The tall observation
towers of Bekal Fort (Once huge cannon emplacements belonging to the Kadampa Dynasty),
offers a panoramic view of the Lakshadweep sea. Another fort is at Chandragiri, south-east
of Kasargod.
